Dinosaur are not mammals. Mammals and dinosaurs evolved from completely different genetic lines. Birds are the closest and only living decedents of dinosaurs (except possibly a few rare species not known to science and only known to local tribal legend such as Mokele-Mbembe but this is not widely believed)

No. The word "dinosaur" means "Terrible Lizard." Scientists now believe that dinosaurs may be more closely related to birds than to modern reptiles, but the fact remains: they were not mammals. There were some mammals around towards the end of the time of the dinosaurs, but they were not dinosaurs.... the largest mammal known to have co-existed with dinosaurs was probably similar in size and general shape to the modern Tasmanian devil, and most were smaller.

There were some animals that are commonly thought of as dinosaurs, but were actually a kind of proto-mammal. These are the synapsids, some of which were more reptilian (pelycosaurs) and some of which were more like mammals (therapsids). (Modern mammals are also synapsids.) One of the more famous extinct synapsids is Dimetrodon, the "sail-backed lizard" that is commonly shown alongside dinosaurs (in actuality, Dimetrodon had been extinct for about 35 million years before the first true dinosaurs evolved).
