There were a great many prehistoric animals that lived in Arizona. 10,000 years ago there were megafauna animals like camelops (a North American camel) that lived there.
Much further back, about 225 million years ago, during the Triassic, there were early dinosaurs like Coelophysis, and prosauropods lived there, as well as erect, quadrepedal, carnivorous reptiles like Postosuchus.
