What are the theories of dinosaur extinction?

I'd have to say say meteorites or earthquakes but my theory is a plant infection. If this did happen the Herbivores would die and the Carnivores ate the dead carcasses that were infected and they died. There is also a theory that they didn't die, they evolved.

The giant dinosaurs could not withstand the changing climate and loss of food due to an asteroid impact, including cloud cover and possibly volcanism. The tiny mammals that existed at the time survived along with other beings such as a species of crocodile and sea turtle.

The dinosaur extinction was not the greatest greatest mass extinction to have occurred on Earth. The Permian Extinction saw the termination of up to 96% of the species living during that time. It is the largest of the 5 Mass Extinctions in Earth's history. Life ended for most of those creatures due to the land masses' movement. Not trying to sound too doomsday, but we are experiencing a 6th Mass Extinction right now as Earth is loosing species at the same rates as these other documented extinctions.
