I dont think anyone actually knows because they lived and died so long ago. Alot of the pictures are just peoples imagination on what they think the diplodocus looked like from using scientific information about the formation of the dinosaur and how it would walk and hold its body, neck and tail.. however finding out the colour is something I have not found while researching this particular dinosaur.
