Triceratops are often said to look similar to rhinoceroses. They had four stalky legs, and a barrel-shaped body. They had a very large head (1/3 total length) and a tail that was also 1/3 of the total length. At the back of the head, there was a large, flat, somewhat circular frill that shielded the neck. They also had two long horns above the eyes and a short horn above the nose.
