Drumheller is located in what is nicknamed "Dinosaur Valley" because of the many dinosaur fossils found there. Some species include Pachyrhinosaurus, Styracosaurus, Corythosaurus, Lambeosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Euoplocephalus, Orodromeus, Stegoceras, Daspletosaurus, Gorgosaurus, Ornithomimus, Dromaeosaurus, Troodon, and more.

Certainly Tyrannosaurus Rex and Albertosaurus. The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology near Drumheller has a large collection of exhibits, many of which were discovered locally.
