Why did the daleks wait before they killed dalek sec?
Because at first they belived Darlek Sec was the ultimate weapon. They thorght that by combining the darlek and the human race then they could live on with their traditions their race was extict, only four remained. But when Sec began to show feelings and sympothy, the darleks enslaved him and killed him. They didnt want to be too human, even though they combined their race and our race together. After that, another of the cult of skaro, Caan (I think :P), used a emergency temperal shift to escape his inevitable fate against the doctor.
