There is no mention of dinosaurs in The Bible. However, the words cat or kangaroo are not there either. The word dinosaur has only been around since the middle of the 1800's. The Bible has many descriptions of animals in it (several fitting the description of dinosaurs - Job Chapters 40 and 41) and mentions dragons several times but remember even 'dragon' is a contemporary expression given as the best translation at the time.
According to some studies done by man on the age of dinosaur remains, man did not exist in the time of the dinosaurs and therefore, by mans reasoning, they cannot have existed in biblical times as man was there from the start. (or at least T+6 days)
Since this question is framed from a biblical viewpoint it should be answered accordingly. In the book of Genesis God tells us He created the land animals on day 6 and again in the book of Exodus written in the middle of the ten commandments God tells us to keep the sabbath holy "for in six days God created the Heaven and the Earth and ALL that in them is." Therefore, they were created on day 6 and are essentially alive today just certain species have died off, were killed, or could not adapt to the post Noachic flood environment.
Also note, we are living in Biblical times even now.
Yes they were.
Dinosaurs were extinct 65 million years ago. Dinosaurs were on Earth for 180 million years, but dinosaurs are still here but as birds.
it was around when the dinosaurs were on the earth alive
There were thousands of super volcanoes, Earth was only just still forming while the dinosaurs were around.
No dinosaurs are not still alive there are some relatives of dinosaurs that have been alive since dinosaurs like alligators and crocodiles even tigers and elephants.
Crocodile it has been alive since the dinosaurs
In the sense that birds are dinosaurs, and thus that dinosaurs are still alive, yes. However they were not alive when non-avian dinosaurs were around. Parrots did not evolve until a few million years after non-avian dinosaurs died out.
Some of the earth's atmosphere was made from volcanic eruptions in the past and also when a comet struck earth like when the dinosaurs were alive it cooled down the planet.
Dinosaurs existed at the very beginning of earth that we know of. They are extinct, so they are not really alive to this day. But you can find sculptures of dinosaurs in the museum. Check for some around you and the people there will help you with any questions you have.
