Well one thing you need to remember, most prehistoric animal have adapted and evolved into more useful and dominant forms. While I'm sure no one believes that humans evolve from apes anymore, it is possible for animals to evolve and adapt to their needs. For example: some of the smaller reptiles from the prehistoric period may have evolved slowly over hundreds of years into birds. They may have grown feathers and their bones may have hollowed out to make it easier for them to fly. They may have also gotten much smaller. There is nothing sure about all of this and no matter how many people say it or how many scientists say they are sure, no one knows what really happened other than God himself, but we can make speculations and educated guesses as to what may have occured while we were still nonexistant. Dr. Grimm- advice expert, hisorical aid, animal reasearcher, and Christian. Well sharks, aligators, crocadiles, komodo dragons, stergon, etc. have evolved very little since their species first evolved. hope this answers your question :-)
