Jurassic and Triassic and cretaceous were almost fierce
The first dinosaurs appeared on earth about 250 million years ago just after the Permian-Triassic mass extinction. The Triassic dinosaurs weren't too fierce and they were mainly neutrally defensive, which means they don't attack unless provoked.
Yes, it was. If you have seen the Jurassic Park trilogy, Walking with Dinosaurs etc. You will get a quite accurate depiction of the T.Rex. Although we can't be sure of how vicious/fierce it was, we can definitely be sure that it was a terrifying, yet beautiful animal. It's almost like a reptilian version of the Tiger.
I would say no animal is because they are all fierce in their own ways. Even we are fierce, but not because of our strengh but of our knowledge. Sorry if this answer doesn't satisfy you, but this is the best i can come up with. ^.^
