It depends on the type of flood. If its a large one in a poor country, people may leave for around 3-5 months depending on the security of the place. However if its an ongoing flood, they may be relocated to somewhere else. If not, I'm sure around a 1-2 month leave would be for a small flood.
The poorer a people, the less substantial (sturdy) the housing which can easily be washed away in a flood. When homes are demolished, usually everything owned by those same poor was also lost in the flood, so they are left with nothing.
floods are able to wash away your homes and flood the land and kill people and animals and do other stuff like that
yes.
Many people migrated away from their homes :)
Where water gets into a house, it can ruin many belongings and can potentially lead to the growth of dangerous mold after the floodwaters have receced. If there is a strong current to the flood, homes may be washed away and destroyed. People caught in floods may drown.
try to stay away from all moving water
it is because poor peole have small house to live during flood their small and weak home washes away.
no it burnt down during a play
the first rule of flood safety is move to higher ground and stay away from flood watersi can keep my family and i safe during a flood by reaching high ground, making sure you have a survival kit handy, and listening to the radio for updates
A total of 184 houses were washed away
i think they evacuated or moved away
MOST VULNERABLE HOMES 1. Buildings, which are constructed with earth-based materials or using stone and brick in mud mortar are highly vulnerable to damage in heavy rains and/or floods. 2. The huts made from biomass materials like bamboo, leaves, thatch or light construction using metal sheets are easily destroyed in floods and washed away. 3. The occupation of areas within the flood plain of rivers has increased the vulnerability, especially in areas of high population concentration. Flood plains attract poor people because of inexpensive land values.
