Tornadoes happen in all 12 months but occur most often in late March through early June.
It depends on where you live, really. Tornado ally is where most tornados occur. That's because tornados mostly are formed in warm weather.
Tornadoes most often occur in the spring an early summer as that is when the collisions of air masses of different temperatures and dew points are most violent and most like to produce severe thunderstorms.
supercell tornados occur most frequently
It's possible to have a tornado pretty much anywhere in the world, but a common place in the U.S. is called Tornado Alley, which is a belt of states right down the middle of the country where tornadoes occur most often.
No. They occur in other places. Those particular states happen to have a lot of them, hence the "Tornado Alley" title they are given.
Although tornadoes can happen at any time of the year, they most often occur in spring because that is when warm air most often surges northwards and collides with much cooler air. This can produce very strong thunderstorms, which in turn can produce tornadoes.
Tornados can occur and so does storm surges and flash floods, frequent lightning and very strong winds!
USA has had the most tornados
Earthquakes occur most often along the boundaries of tectonic plates.
Yes tornados occur regularly in the UK. The difference is that fortunately they are weak. There is supposed to be more tornados in the UK than in the USA they just are not on anything like the same scale. I have not seen any tornados myself but I have seen the beginnings of a tornado in a funnel cloud - a sharp triangular cloud pointing to the ground. If these touch the ground then you have a tornado.
