I think the reason grownups fall is that they act like young people, walking too fast and not looking where they are going. Young people do that because they don't believe they will ever fall. Even if they fall the doctor patches them up like new. But grownups are much harder to patch up. Therefore grownups must learn to walk in a way that they will not fall. They should ALWAYS hold onto the pole in the stairway. If there isn't one they should make an effort to go slowly and carefully. Walking straight they should look at the ground all the time to make sure there is nothing there that will "help" them fall. They should stop climbing on ladders and chairs. I told my wife (age 50 good health): walk like a senior citizen because if you fall you will instantly become a senior citizen.
