Famine persists in many countries due to a combination of factors, including political instability, conflict, and poor governance, which disrupt food distribution and access. Climate change also plays a significant role by causing extreme weather events that can devastate agricultural production. Economic inequalities and lack of infrastructure further exacerbate food insecurity, leaving vulnerable populations without reliable access to nutrition. Additionally, global issues such as trade barriers and rising food prices can hinder efforts to alleviate hunger.
