fishing during full moon- sciences said that fishes goes out on their "houses" during full moon. why? because the light of the moon catches their attention so they sprout during that time.

exposing laundry under the sun- that's understandable. smart as you are, we could all obviously explain it. that includes the water cycle and evaporation.

telling time by observing shadows- (in Paris, some houses still uses this practice) uhmm, some said that the setting of the sun and the rising of it tells time so since its light reflects the shadow then they use shadow to tell time.
