If you say they are, then they are. Leprechauns are made-up, so you're free
to give them any characteristics you'd like them to have.
Seems to me I've heard that leprechauns live at the end of rainbows. If so, then
that would suggest that there's something about the end of a rainbow that attracts
them. (Maybe it's the fact that, like them, the end of a rainbow doesn't exist.
Ya reckon ?)
Mosquitoes are more attracted to dark colors than light colors.
yes it is
ANSWER: Mosquitoes are attracted to the color blue because it is the brightest color they can see so if they cant smell you they can see you. So mosquitoes are attracted to lighter colors more.
The sun is not "attracted" to dark colours. Dark colours simply absorb energy more efficiently than light colours. Light colours reflect the energy away, so they don't heat up the way that dark colours do. To say that dark colours "attract" the sun is simply an incorrect way of saying it.
The question is a little off. Sunlight isn't 'attracted' to anything, in the sense that light 'wants to move toward' certain colors. But when light shines on objects of different colors, different parts of the light are reflected off of the objects and absorbed by the objects. An object that is close to a very pure white color will reflect most of the light that shines on it; an object that is close to a very pure black color will absorb most of the light that shines on it, and so will absorb more energy.
Light isn't "attracted" to any color. Dark-colored objects absorb more energy than lighter colors do, assuming the same amount of light falls on each.
Dark colors absorb more light and heat compared to light colors, which can make the surface warmer. The heat absorbed by dark colors can make an object or material appear attractive to the sun, as they absorb radiation more effectively.
There are not colors that mosquitoes hate. There are however colors they are less attracted to. This flying insect is less attracted to light colored clothing than it is to dark colored clothes.
Two hypotheses about bees and flowers might include that bees are attracted to purple flowers. Another one could be that bees are attracted to flowers that are brighter colors instead of dark colors.
Bats are blind! They do not see any color!
Dark colors attract dust because they absorb more light, making them warmer than lighter colors. As dust particles move around, they are more likely to be attracted to warmer surfaces like dark colors due to thermal air currents and static electricity. This makes dark-colored surfaces appear dustier compared to lighter colors.
Well during the summer time it will.... Because the sun is attracted to dark colors so when you wear light colors the suns rays will bounce right back off of you
