If they can, then they are all in a massive conspiracy to aid and abet serial killers, rapist and child molesters.

For is such a power existed, then any time there was one of those horrific crimes, the "psychic" who read of the crime would go over to the scene, "see" the past, then turn the name of the killer - plus info that would insure an arrest - over to the police.

One must then conclude that either every "psychic" past reader is a lover of child rape, torture and killing, or that they are lying about their "powers".

(And in such few cases as police have "consulted" with "psychics", they've never revealed more than a good profiler could reveal - and are in fact simply profiling.)
