This is a great question. Voodoo isn't as much something you do as it is a religion... a belief system. In contemporary culture, voodoo is mixed with with myth and movies in a way that is very different from its original religious roots.

Voodoo is a religion and practice based on a deeply rooted and personal faith structure. If a person wishes to become a practitioner of any faith the best way to start is by reading everything you can about it. Leaning about something is the best way to go before blindly jumping into it.
