well, techniclly, I've seen a failed attempt at becoming a necromancer. My freind was always fasinated witht he dark arts, so when he tried to summon a zombie, using his dead dog, it failed. it turned back into a skeleton. not a zombie.

In the Religion of Vodun as well as in Hoodoo, there is a powder that is made that slows the heart down and simulates death, once the person is believed dead, the individual who placed this powder on the person will use another powder or liquid to bring the person back to a semi-conscious state, this is what is known as the Zombie. So to answer the question, yes, there have been several Zombies on the earth, just not as in the terms of what you see in Hollywood movies.

Yes there has been some zombies sightings. I have seen a picture of a zombie sighting before. But i am not sure if there has been actual prof of a zombie.
