You can tell if your in the presence of a witch, that has no distinctive symbols, by the feeling you get from there presence and there eyes,if you can do this that means you have a little Witch in you. A witch can tell when she/he is in the presence of a Witch. Some people are born with a powerfull Witch like ability and just dont know it. Cute 4' 11", brown eyes, long sexy hair, curvy figure, could stand to lose a few pounds... Oh wait - that's me! :o) Thats not funny darling! Witches come in all shapes, sizes, ethnicities and genders. Yes, a male witch is still a witch. The movie loved term warlock actually means "oathbreaker" and will get you nasty look if you called a male witch one. Think to yourself - what does a Catholic look like? What does a Baptist look like? The important thing is to remember that what you see in the movies isn't what you get in real life. Some people assume that witches have a gothic look and dress all black; others equate "witch" with the weird old lady down the street with very long white hair and twelve cats in her yard. Though that lady may indeed be a witch, most of us are not easy to identify and look just like normal, mundane citizens. If you are looking for a distinctive sign, some of us wear a pentacle (a five pointed star enclosed in a circle) as a sign of belonging to Wicca or other Pagan paths... But there are non-witches who wear that symbol as well, sometimes without knowing what it stands for. It's also true that the word "warlock" should be avoided. I am a male witch and I definitely wouldn't like to be called an oathbreaker. It basically means "harmful witch who hurts people on purpose".

They were first class wigs and they wear gloves to hide there claws even in the summer even if its 120degrees. A witches hair is always bold and they are always bored but they wear the first class wigs to hide their bordem.

Create some dark coloured robes and coak (you can buy them) and make a broomstick and a hat. Now, if you want apply make up and maybe some false warts. Buy a wand or staff (you can make them).

you will need:

=black dress

=witches hat

=broom

=black stockings and black boots

=black evil make-up

=basket

step 1: put on stockings and dress. ( try to add glow in the dark figures or torn material for effections.)

step 2: brush hair up in a bun or leave down but add fake coloured foils. do make up-black eyeshadow-tint skin=make darker-dark red or black lip=stick or lip=gloss.

step 3: add boots and basket and your ready to go but dont forget to say trick or treat.

Before the time of Christians, many people were scared of witches and ghosts, they thought dressing up in scary costumes would frighten evil spirits away.

and games were played that used apples, apples were used in the games as people used to think that apples helped guide the spirits to heaven.

I suppose the flippant answer would be with their eyes, but as I'm sure that was not what you intended, I'll try harder.

The word witch refers to a person of either gender, so they could be a man or a woman. Witches come from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds, so there is no one physical description. Witches do not have a specific "uniform", piece of jewelry, birth mark or secret hand-shake to set them apart from the general masses. All of which makes them hard to tell from everyone else in the world.

Pagans, Witches among them, tend to follow any one of a large number of spiritual paths; a great number of which (but not all) are earth based; and many (although not all) are polytheistic.

These days there is a move to replace the word "Witch" with the word "Wiccan", however the term is neither politically correct, nor is it accurate. Although all Wiccans are pagan, not all Pagans are Wiccan, and not all persons who call or consider themselves to be witches are either.
