Since no clear photos or recovered remains definitively exist of the Loch Ness monster, the exact appearance of the beast can only be discerned from eye-witness testimonies. Some believe the monster to be a plesisaurus, a prehistoric aquatic dinosaur, or a close variation and there are many renderings of this beast done by artists that can be referenced.

The best way then would be to read eye-witness accounts and determine the features and shapes most true to the majority. Or you could model your design on the plesisaurus as some have. To get an idea of how others draw the creature, merely go to the "Goggle Image" search and type "Loch Ness monster" and many artistic examples as well as crude photographic pictures will be made available to you.
