How do you dress up as a fortune teller?

To dress as a real fortune teller, where your everyday clothes, we don't look any different than anyone else.

To dress up as a fortune teller (from fiction or as a costume):

A woman would wear, one or more long flowing skirts in bright colors (lots of reds, blues and purples), a white blouse with long sleeves and a wide round neckline, a shawl to match the colors of the skirts (with embroidery or something that looks expensive), a scarf around the head covering the hair (again draw from the colors of the skirts), black Ballet slippers and lots of gold jewelry (hoop earrings are a must, the larger the better) should finish it off. Carry a "crystal ball" or a deck of Tarot cards.

A man would wear, dark pants (black is best), a button front shirt in either black or white (leave it unbuttoned to the middle of your chest), a vest (here's where you can go a bit wild with the color), a long scarf used as a belt (use red, or pick a colour from the vest), a flat topped black hat either alone or with a bright scarf under it tied to cover the hair (if you can not find a hat, use just a scarf), black boots and lots of gold jewelry (be sure to wear at least one large hoop earring). As above carry either a "crystal ball" or a deck of Tarot cards.
