How do you tell a Mormon Missionary that you like him?

The same way you would know if any other girl likes you. She would probably flirt with you, pay more attention to how she looks and acts around you, go out of her way to spend time with you or see you, etc. It wouldn't hurt to ask her on a date, but be aware that if she's under 16 she probably doesn't date, and she might feel more comfortable on a group date. Don't tell him before he leaves. The problem with LDS missionary is that they are working for their church and not suppose to think about women. Telling him might keep him from focusing on the last part of his mission which would be unfair to him, your church, and the people he might be teaching. What you should do is ask if you could write him when he goes home, then get his home address. When he has left for home, write him that letter and confess your feelings. He can actually respond like a man (rather than a missionary) once he is officially off his mission.

Take it from a guy who knows and was on a mission once. He doesn't want to know what girls like him right before he goes home. And missionaries ARE different than other regular people. Missionaries are suppose to stay focused on work for their church right to the last minute, not thinking about a girl. Wait until he is home or you may get a cold response (the standard missionary response). If you write, call each other and end up liking each other, long distance relationships do work out - take it from someone who also knows.

His religion should make no difference, but generally when a young boy likes you he will pay more attention to you, but then shy away when you pay attention to him. Sometimes young boys are even mean to girls they like, just because they don't know how to act around them.

Even if he does like you, just be friends. 12 is much too young to be dating or have a serious relationship, and most Mormons won't date until they are 16 anyway.

A Mormon Missionary doesn't like you, and if he/she did, it wouldn't matter. Mormon Missionaries have devoted a period of their lives to serving Jesus Christ and do not have relationships, be alone with a members of the opposite sex, or even do anything that isn't community service or teaching the Gospel.

Not all members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) have the same personality, so her religion has nothing to do with it. Every girl is different. Some girls will come right out and tell you. Some will flirt with you. Some will go out of their way to pass by you or see you. Some are shy and might only watch you from far away. The best way to know is just to ask her on a date and see if it goes anywhere. Be aware though, that many (not all) Mormon girls under 16 don't date, and others who are still in high school will date but not have a serious boyfriend.
