In terms of Paganism ritual and magic are very related but it is important to know they can exist without each other.

Magic, or magick, is the act of using energy to move/make a change for the good of all involved (if you follow the Wiccan Rede).

Ritual is simply a ceremony that a Witch or Pagan would do to allow their minds to focus on the change at hand.

Therefore magic is usually done in ritual to add a little extra push but magic is strong without ritual as well. It is all a matter of how your state of mind develops and how strong your will/intent is.

In return, ritual may be performed without doing magic as some rituals are simply seen as stepping stones into a realm that is between time and space. Also rituals are used to celebrate holidays and initiations into covens.

Do witches practice their magic by lakes and if so what does it entail?

Witches practice a ceremonial type of magic. A lake is a good place for a ritual space. A ritual space has to be a calm and undisturbed place, safe from the outside world and nature is in balance. A magic ritual is a symbolic act that involves Magical symbols, herbs, candles, incense and Magical tools. The most important Magical tool is the mind, where Mental Focus, Visualization and Energy Control are used.

How do you use ritual cards on yu-gi-oh dark duel stories?

Ritual cards are a little confusing in this game. With cards like "Black Magic Ritual" and "Black Luster Ritual" You have to have to have the card that "evolves" into the monster you want and two monsters to offer on the field. For example: To summon Magican of Black Chaos you need Dark magician on the field (however if you just summoned him to the field, you need to wait a turn before using the ritual). Then you offer your two monsters and click on Black Magic Ritual, and it will say "used. Dark Magic Ritual. Magician of Black Summoned!" and now the Dark Magician is the Magician of Black Chaos. The same goes for summoning Black Luster Soldier. However this method doesn't work for "Revived Serpent Night Dragon" some reason.
