A male vampire either bites a woman (or a man) and they become a vampire.

Also, a male vampire could do the horizontal hokey-pokey, doing the nasty, do a hole in one, you know, get physical with an attractive female, and so she gives birth ( and normally dies) to a baby vampire. then the male goes to another attractive female, goets physical, and so on. Read twilight-espacially breaking dawn, it has all that stuff in it.
