Chris Angel, if I understand this correctly, is a stage magician. The very name sounds a little sacrilegious. By the way the Catholic Church has always opposed all forms of oc cultism including Stage Magic- even the milder forms- they would never use it in variety reviews, for fund raising, etc. It"s a fact since l968 the Carnival Act ( Roltair"s Illusion) sometimes called the ( coffin-box escape) has been BANNED from all Church carnivals. I recall the headlines Bishop bans Lewd Carnival Act! Does that answer your question?
