No, Halloween is a modern variation of All Hallows, also known as All Saints' Day. Both of which evolved from the old pagan festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-en) a festival designed to honour the dead and our personal ancestors. None of this has anything to do with the Christian fallen angel Lucifer (sometimes called Satan).

in my opinion i think it is because in Halloween all you would see are witches, ghosts, monsters, devils and lots of other scary stuff. All that has something to do with the devil. We're basically celebrating the evil and since he is evil then we are celebrating his birthday. All this about his birthday came from some witches long ago that worshiped some evil gods and the devil i think.
