I have been watching this coin on E-Bay for about 5 years, along with its 1928 partner. The main value comes in the quality of the coin. Basically you can get a nice coin for around $20. On the other hand I have seen them sell for $40 or more. So it all depends on who is buying and when you sell. Bottom line, you will probably not be able to get more than $20 for the coin in nice condition.
It's a novelty item called a magician's coin, and has no collector value.
No U.S. dollars are dated 1929, look at the coin again and post new question.
If it disappears, it was a magician's coin.
This may be a magician's coin---used for magic coin tricks.
It's likely a novelty/magician's coin that has no collectible numismatic value.
Please look at the coin again and post new question. No U.S. $1.00 coins exist dated 1929.

The 1929 Indian Head Half Eagle is the key-date of this 24 coin series. Authentic examples have a minumin value of $10,000.00. It's also well known to have "Tribute Proof" copy's made that are worthless. The coin needs to be seen. Take it to a coin dealer.
Look at the coin again, no US Quarter Eagles were struck after 1929.
