No. I've weared black on Friday the 13th several times, and nothing bad has happened. Pure superstition if people tell you otherwise.

It's not, I'm Irish, and I've never heard of it being unlucky. I wear green all the time. I have never been taught it is unlucky. So green is not seen as unlucky in Ireland.
Unlucky is a very personal thing. What I would consider an unlucky colour would be lucky for someone else. Cultures and circumstances differ widely. As an example: Where I was raised both black and green are incredibly unlucky colours to wear to a wedding, and very nearly disastrous if worn by a member of the wedding party.
if they wear black, brown or greys (so dark colours) then it's to a sad song. but if they wear red, white or polka dots then it's a happy song, they don't wear yellow because it is considered unlucky! hope that helped x
