Self realisation is the best way to understand with consideration of mind as the highest laboratory.
Freud referred to the hidden meaning of dreams as the "latent content," which represents the unconscious desires, thoughts, and emotions that are disguised in the manifest content of dreams.
An oneirologist is a person who scientifically studies dreams. They are usually have a good background in psychology, such as a masters degree.
In your dreams, this is not scientifically possible.... yet
The question refers to Freud's theory of dreams. The manifest content is the surface or visible meaning while the latent content would be the secret or hidden meaning. For example, in a dream about threading a needle, the manifest content would be sewing, perhaps reflecting the dreamer's work as a tailor. The latent content (particularly for Freud) would be a sexual urge with the thread and eye of the needle representing male and female sex organs.
Manifest content refers to the actual events or elements that occur in a dream, while latent content refers to the hidden psychological meaning or symbolism behind these events. Manifest content is what is consciously experienced during a dream, while latent content is the unconscious desires, fears, or emotions that are expressed symbolically. Freud believed that analyzing the latent content of dreams could uncover important insights into a person's psyche.
The theory of manifest and latent content of dreams originated with Freud.

Some individuals have some success by meditating, praying and focusing on the desired subject before going to sleep. However, even if they dream about that subject, the content and direction of the dream are beyond their control. Dreams are produced by the subconscious mind which is not under the direction of the conscious (waking) self.
All human beings have good dreams sometimes and bad dreams sometimes, so there is no particular problem here that needs to be studied. Dreams in general are studied by psychologists, who find insight into the psyche through dream analysis. Sleep researchers investigate the physiology of dreaming; how and when it occurs, and the associated sleep states of dreams. See the attached links for more information.
It's the way the brain handles all the imput, sorting out what needs to be remembered and what doesent, most dreams do not have any meaning, they are unimportant, when you have a dream that has meaning, you will remember it... But not all dreams you remember have meaning...
