Ghosts normally show their presence if they want to, normally they dont appear in front of you visible. But there are some people who can sence the presence and may be able to see it, but that might not be proven.
Theres a type of machine that the ghosthunters use to sence the presence of a ghost but other than that i dont think theres really a way to see them.

You can see a ghost anywhere but you can only see aghost when they show themselfs but inorder for them to do that they have to have alot of energy. But if you have a gift to be able to see them then you should be able to see them anywhere.
