At the time of Charles Darwin's publication of "On the Origin of Species" in 1859, his theories on evolution and natural selection sparked significant controversy. Many in the scientific community were intrigued, but his ideas challenged established religious and societal beliefs about creation, leading to a mix of fascination and backlash. Some embraced his theories, viewing them as revolutionary, while others vehemently opposed them, perceiving them as a threat to traditional views of humanity's place in the world. Overall, Darwin's beliefs prompted intense debate and laid the groundwork for modern evolutionary Biology.
Most of the people from the Shakespeare's time were Christians. They had the same beliefs about death as Christians currently do. They believed that when you died you went to heaven.

I think so, I'm not quite sure but i think it did.
At the time, Calvanism offered a pure translation of Christianity, as well as a break from both the rituals and -dare we say- hedonism of the Catholic Church.
Comets have been in space since the start of time. In the 1800's there were many people who knew comets where a space phenomena, there were people who thought it was a message from the gods. What people thought of the comets depended on their cultural beliefs.
Darwin's beliefs about Earth differed from other scientists of his time primarily in his theory of evolution through natural selection, which proposed that species change over time in response to their environment. This challenged the prevailing view of species being unchanging and individually created by a divine entity. Darwin's ideas also emphasized the interconnectedness of all life forms through a common ancestry, which was a departure from the prevailing belief in separate, unrelated creations.
why have beliefs you may ask yourself time from to time. the truth is we are all looking for answers. you can be wiccan like me or catholic or a Jewish or what ever you may be.many people get think there answers are more real then others.we all have an answer to the great question and so we are the same in a way. even people who don't believe in a high power have an answer that we were made from science. the fact is no one is wrong.we are here and that's what counts.we have our culture and our beliefs. but some people are sensitive to other culture. its only cause they are scared of the unknown. we all need to believe in something so we look for the answers.
What do you think? Where normal people do!
no not in my opinion i don't even think dogs and cats and stuff even existed in that time but if they somehow did then the ancient people used animals way better than us because their beliefs were that everyone is equal so we treat domestic animals worse than people long time ago:)

Yes, Charles Darwin's book "On the Origin of Species" published in 1859 greatly influenced the field of biology and the way we understand the diversity of life on Earth. It introduced the theory of evolution by natural selection, sparking significant advancements in the scientific community and challenging popular beliefs at the time.
I think that they don't want to seperat
