Dreams are very complex, from a rerun of the day's events, to fears or concerns you may be experiencing, to what are called "wish fulfillment" dreams. Some dreams contain themes that are common to most people but apart from this, everyone has their own "dream language." These are events or visions that are symbolic only to you. Because of this, it is difficult to interpret someone's dream without knowing more about them.
Your dream may represent a fulfillment of a fantasy that you have of one day being famous; or you may have had stage fright in your dream, which may mean you are feeling anxious or have a real fear of appearing in public. If it was a positive, fun dream, your mind may simply be entertaining you with a pleasant story that seemed real. Some people have vivid dreams that are almost like watching a movie and wake up wondering where that wonderful adventure came from. Because our minds are creative, it was pieced together out of experiences you have had, things you have seen and heard, things you have imagined. You may even have dreamed you were on a particular show because you were watching it the day you had the dream.
Because our brains and personalities are complex, if you want to interpret your own dreams, it is helpful to write them down as soon as you wake up and think about some of the things mentioned here. Little-by-little, you will begin to understand your own "dream language" and find out more about yourself, your anxieties, your joys, and the creativity of your mind.
