Being Psychic is hereditary.
Nothing at all, aside from not being able to lie to them about where you're going. All kidding aside though, you have a slightly raised chance of having natural psychic abilities yourself. Slightly being the operative word.
no
If you are psychic you are psychic and there really is no way to read up on it or study. Being psychic is a feeling and a instinct and no quiz will really tell you if you are psychic.
Psychic realm is a commonly used phrase by people who claim to have psychic powers. The psychic realm is defined as being a world of illusion separate from the real world.
No, there is no Pokemon that is psychic and ghost. (To, be honest, i thought there was... :( I hate being wrong.)
Being a psychic is unique. If someone is a psychic the only way that they can "pass" it on to someone else is to help them hone their on skills. Being a psychic is not a goal and is considered by some as a gift that is religiously questionable.
It doubles the chance of a move's secondary effects. For example, Psychic has a 20% chance to lower the target's Sp. Defence, instead of the usual 10% chance.
As a matter of fact, every person has psychic abilities. It is just a matter of believing it, developing it and not being afraid of it.
Here are two different movesets:This first set is good as Gastly can target more types of Pokémon, namely Psychic, Ghost, Grass, Water, Rock, Poison, Fighting, Bug(Gen 1), and Fairy(Gen 6). It also includes moves that are the same type as Gastly itself, which causes full damage. The moves are 100% accurate, and all have a chance of inflicting additional side effect damage.Shadow Ball (Ghost, 80P, 20% chance of lowering SP Defense)Sludge Bomb (Poison, 90P, 30% chance of poisoning)Psychic (Psychic, 90P, 10% chance of lowering SP Defense )Energy Ball (Grass, 80P, 10% chance of lowering SP Defense)This second set of moves is rather limited as you can really only target Psychic, Ghost, Poison and Fighting type Pokémon. It becomes more useful if you can get your opponent Pokémon into sleep, which you can then steal ½ their HP when you use Dream Eater.Shadow Ball (Ghost, 80P, 20% chance of lowering SP Defense)Psychic (Psychic, 90P, 10% chance of lowering SP Defense )Hypnosis (Psychic, 60% chance of causing opposing Pokémon to fall asleep)Dream Eater (Psychic, 100P, effective only if target is asleep)These movesets are applicable to Gastly, Haunter and Gengar. You are more than welcome to discuss your ideal moveset by clicking Discuss
No, but it can give you mental clarity.
All Pokémon that are either part or only Dark-type will not be affected by any Psychic-type attacks that do damage (such as Psychic). Psychic attacks that have effects such as stat reduction still affect Dark-types. However, Psychic attacks that damage foes that have a chance of an added stat reduction on top of damage will not affect Dark-types. This means that any possible side effects besides damage will not work.
It's a dual-type; being both Normal and Psychic.
