The Truth of the matter would be such a shock to modern professing Christianity... if they could bring themselves to "believe" it. But, an antichrist believes God is "three" [a trinity] instead of "two" as the Scriptures reveal:

"...HE IS AN ANTICHRIST, that DENIETH THE FATHER AND THE SON." (I John 2:22)

Jesus reveals to us: " 'I and My Father are one.'" (John 10:30 KJV)

Sometimes it's just as important to notice what the Bible DOESN'T SAY, as much as what it does. In the passage above, notice that Jesus doesn't say: 'I, My Father, and the Holy Spirit are one.'

He reveals that God is TWO! But most professing Christians gloss right over these [and more passages], firm in the teachings they received from their pastors and ministers [not from The Bible] that God is a trinity [three]... not "two;" as Jesus plainly and Truthfully states.

Why doesn't anyone seem to notice that Paul greets the churches in nearly all his letters with the same salutation; not with the "trinity" of God, but with the "DUALITY" of God:

"Grace be unto you, and Peace, from GOD OUR FATHER, and from THE LORD Jesus Christ." (I Cor.1:3)

"Grace be to you and Peace from GOD OUR FATHER, and from THE LORD JESUS CHRIST." (II Cor.1:2)

"Grace be to you and Peace from GOD THE FATHER, and from OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST." (Gal.1:3)

"Grace be to you, and Peace, from GOD OUR FATHER, and from THE LORD JESUS CHRIST." (Eph.1:2)

"To the saints and Faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and Peace, from GOD OUR FATHER and THE LORD JESUS CHRIST." (Col.1:2)

Is anyone picking up on the revelation from God here? Most of the world isn't.

And as John reveals in his letter... an antichrist doesn't get it, either, and doesn't believe in the "duality of God."

Of course, the deceived churches of the world aren't going to give up their beliefs in the "trinity"... even in the face of biblical Truth. But, in spite of it... the Scriptures define an antichrist as one who denies the "duality of God."

Once again; by God's definition: "...He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." (I John 2:22)

Not: '...the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.'
