AnswerIn Galatians 2:11ff, Paul says that he publicly rebuked Peter for not treating uncircumcised Christians as equals. Their differences seem to have been over Peter's insistence that gentiles could not become Christians without first becoming Jews.

A completely different view is given in Acts of the Apostles, which quite paradoxically portrays Peter as the sole architect of the policy of accepting uncircumcised gentiles, with Paul passively accepting instructions to preach to the gentiles. On this evidence there was no reason for any differences between Paul and Peter, and none evident in this book.
