There is no exact date I'm afraid. The closest I can give you is that the Devil was the 13th child born to Mrs. Leeds, a resident of the Pine Barrens during the mid-18th century. However, if you find the exact date or hear of it somewhere, send me a message.

All we know about the Jersey devil dying is the hellish carcass found in the Pine Barrens (the area of forest where the devil lives). However, the creature has been seen many times since the discovery and it was said to have haunted the forest for 260 years or more! The story goes Mother Leeds (inspiering the other name: Leeds Devil) cursed her 13th child before it was born and as soon as it was born it either immediately changed, or went through metemorphis. It than flew out the window, into the night. That was a long time ago! This sugests the beast is immortal, because two devils (you know what I mean) have not been seen.
