I hate to burst your bubble but there never was a human that walked on the moon. It was all a hoax and even now the astronauts admit that it could not have happened. People that still believe in the moon landing are completely unrealistic and unable to face facts. We do not now, nor have we ever, possessed the technology that would make a successful lunar landing possible.
The "Harvest Moon" is the Full Moon on the date closest to the Autumnal Equinox. It's so called because it's the full moon whose rising time is retarded least from one night to the next, as if to extend the hours of light that could be used for the men in the field to conduct the harvest at that season.
in 1972 Apollo 11 sucessfully landed two men on the moon
No but a group of men almost did and had to abort landing on the moon when Apolo 13 went into space. This was because of faulty building.
It was Apollo11
An excellent question! When I was growing up in the 1950's, I firmly expected to see Americans land men on the Moon during my lifetime. What I did NOT expect was that Americans would stop trying after only a couple of years. It has now been almost 40 years since the last men walked on the Moon. The next humans on the Moon will almost certainly land within the next 15 years - but are unlikely to speak English. Mandarin, more likely.
The First Men in the Moon was created in 1901.
