Being of Native American descent I would not advise you to purchse one which is not authentic Native American. Dream catchers were first made by the Ojibway tribe, know to most Americans as the Chippewa Indians. Ojibway people would tie sinew strands in a web around a small round or tear-shaped frame--in a somewhat similar pattern to how they tied webbing for their snowshoes--and hang this "dream-catcher" as a charm to protect sleeping children from nightmares. The legend is that the bad dreams will get caught in the web. Traditionally Native American dreamcatchers are small (only a few inches across) and made of bent wood and sinew string with a feather hanging from the netting. Today these dream catchers have become just a pretty thing to decorate living rooms or car windows if this is the case you can find them at your local flea market and such, but if an authentic one is wated for traditional use they can be acquired on reservations throughout the country.
I'm sure you can buy dream catcher materials in any craft store.
No, it is perfectly fine to purchase (or make) a dream catcher for oneself. The power of the dream catcher lies in the dreamer's confidence in the symbolic meaning of the charm, not in the physical dream catcher itself.
The duration of The Dream Catchers is 2700.0 seconds.
Bullpen Catcher's Dream was created in 2000-10.
Hanging a dream catcher in a particular direction is not important. The important thing to understand is that the dream catcher is only a symbol of the magic within the dreamer.
See the link, below, for on-line instructions on making a very simple dream catcher.
obviously u buy a new oneMore information:If your dream catcher broke three years ago, and you are just now noticing that you have nightmares, then the old dream catcher probably didn't make a difference one way or another. If you believe that losing a dream catcher will cause bad dreams, then it is your belief that brings on the bad dreams. If you decide you do not need such talismans, the bad dreams will stop.

There is no answer for who specifically invented the dream catcher. The dream catcher is specifically from the Ojibwa tribe. Most tribes believe that any knowledge given to them, was given by the Creator. So, the Creator invented the dream catcher.
