The areas that tend to have more reports than others are the Himalayas (Nepal, India, Bhutan, Sikkim, and Tibet), the Pacific Northwest (N. California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho), and the Caucasus mountain range (Russia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan). The Canadian province of British Columbia has quite a bit of alleged activity as well.
