Dionysus is the god of wine.

Dionysus is the god of wine and intoxication. He was originally a demigod, but was granted immortality by his father, Zeus. When wanting to ascend to the 12 Olympian status (the twelve major gods of the throne room), strife was caused among the gods, since twelve gods/goddesses were already in place in the throne room. In order to prevent a war, Hestia, the goddess of the hearth, stepped down from her throne and allowed Dionysus to claim it. This imbalanced the room - leaving them with five females and seven males - but no one really cared.
There were several main gods -- Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus (top three and all brothers) as well as Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, Athena, Ares, Demeter, Hephaestus, Hera, Hermes and Hestia -- however each household had their own household gods which they worshiped.
Oh, dude, Poseidon had some pretty cool buddies. Like, he was tight with some sea creatures, you know, like dolphins and stuff. And he had his own posse of sea nymphs. Plus, he was bros with other gods like Helios and Hephaestus. So yeah, Poseidon had a pretty solid crew backing him up.
there are 3 major gods "the big three". They are Zeus, Posiedon and Hades. Legends say that they were argumentitive brothers. There are 10 more common gods such as hephestaus or vulcan. Then there are hundreds of minor gods all depending on religion
