The "dream man" is something of an urban myth that has been perpetuated by emails, websites and blogs. Supposedly one person sketched the face of an unknown man seen in dreams. Later, another individual saw the sketch and claimed to recognize it as a man seen in dreams. Once the story and sketch appeared on the internet, it snowballed until supposedly "hundreds" of people across the world see the same face "every night." There is absolutely no reliable evidence supporting this story. The sketch is an unremarkable, generic face that could resemble any of a multitude of actual faces.

Also, your brain cannot make up faces, therefore you would have to have seen the face in real life to be able to see it in your dreams.
