Becoming a sangoma is not a personal or professional choice, you are chosen to become a sangoma. We are not all destined to become a sangoma, but much rather, the spirit world invites the chosen, the one. The chosen one must obey, and if one is not willing to enter their calling, they will be made to enter their destiny as there really is no choice other than to be submissive to the role to be fulfilled.

I can manage Sangoma (Spiritualist) and Nyanga (Herbalist) but Nyangoma sounds odd. Anyone else? Is this perhaps 'Lion King' vocabulary? In most bantu languanges "ngoma" means musik, "nya" most likely ( Iam not quite sure) means place. In this case "Nyangoma" would mean a place, where musik is played.
