The Greek pantheon has several deities devoted to dreaming. They are Hypnos, Morpheus, and Oneiros.

Each one plays a diffferent part in making dreams for humans, Hypnos is a personification of sleep, and he is responsible for the dreamer reaching the land of sleep. Morpheus is often called the "Shaper of form" for he shapes/creates the dreams, and Oneiros can be percieved as a personification of dreams. He's is portrayed as either Oneiros' brother or son, and is usually pictured as a black winged daemon.

In alternate tellings of Greek mythology, two gods called Phobetor and Phantasos are also portrayed as kings of dreams.
