Why was Lilith evil?

Lilith was not evil, but later was "converted" to evil by the Jewish and Christian patriarchy. In ancient myth, she represented the empowerment of women. She was definitely NOT a submissive type and sought to awaken females into their own womanhood and sexuality. The worship of this kind of powerful goddess did not suit a religion that was trying to suppress women, so they twisted her story. Instead of being women's protector, she became a threat to their children - the most effective way to instill a fear of her.
