They are good, when used responsibly, but some people drastically overdo it. People get fatigued, naturally, and lots of people depend on caffeine in order to invigorate themselves. A cup of coffee or an energy drink is great for that! However, energy drinks have become slightly problematic recently. Lots of kids have been drinking too many, and there have been emergency room reports of kids, such as nine and ten year olds, suffering from myocardial infarctions and ischemic strokes! In answer to your question, energy drinks are good, when used in moderation.
