3) Start small! Drink a small amount to start with, and gauge your reaction to it.

As with any fever, it is important to consult a physician. In the meantime, you can hydrate the person with the fever by giving them fluids high in electrolytes, such as Gatorade or Pedialyte. Try to avoid foods high in protein, as they are prone to causing diahrrea and worsening the dehydration effects of the fever.
