Should not be a problem unless you have other health problems that prevent you from taking caffeine (coffee). Remember, it makes your heart race.

Tylenol (acetaminophen) should not be taken carelessly while you are taking Percocet. I advise seeking the help of a pharmacist to fully and individually answer your question based on what medications you are on and your individual health status.

I take hydrocodone a few times a month at the most (legally), I crushed my L2 a few years back. I am not a doctor, so this is in no way advice, just personal experience. Since I only take 4-5 ,7.5mg hydrocodone pills a month as needed when the pain is close to unbearable(some months less or none) I don't have that much experience with the medication anymore like I used to when I abused it to get messed up (before my accident). Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that I don't take hydrocodone much but when I do and I need to function I like a cup or two of coffee to take the 'out of it' feeling away as much as possible. Otherwise it's hard for me to stay focused.

That having been said, I take hydrocodone. I've taken hydrocodone post-surgery several times in the past.

Neither the papers published by the manufacturer, the doctor, or the pharmacist have given any warnings regarding the combination of coffee and hydrocodone.
