Does green tea show up on a drug test?

Boatloads of cranberry juice, water, and time are really the only plausible things that help.

nothing can mask a drug test!if its any sort of reputable test that is. "lemon water" is proven to be beneficial aswell as the above and plenty of vitamins to generally give the body everything it needs to clean itself out.

I have heard that it does. Supposedly one of the cannabinoids slows liver metabolism. The poly-phenols in green tea are supposed to disable the effect on the liver and speed up excretion. Its not a silver bullet, though. The best thing to do is exercise. Body metabolism can be increased vastly if you exercise more.

I have heard that it put all of the chemical residue at the bottom of the bladder and you remove it in the urine more quickly. This is strictly heresay, so rely on it at your own risk.

recently my daughter tested positive on a drug test she was taking for a job. she does not use drugs but drinks green tea. she did not get the job even tho she told them she did not do any kind of drugs except perscription.

any ideas on what could have cause the positive test?

There are no narcotics in green tea, so no it would not show up in a drug test. Green tea will always show a negative result for narcotics if tested for drugs.

This being said, they would never design a drug test method to test green tea. Green tea can be purchased in super markets, convenience stores, health stores, etc. Caffeine is the closest mood altering ingredient in green tea and caffeine is found in many different products that are all deemed safe for consumption.
