you could make soda explode but you can't make a soda bottle explode and by the way if you are going to do anything like that use diet pepsi cuz diet pepsi is crap in a bottle , a bottle that you can not explode! SO DONT TRY IT IN THE FIRST PLACE CUZ ITS JUST STUPID!
Mentos and soda create an explosion simalar to if you shake a soda bottle. When creation this explosion, be sure to do it outside and use a two liter bottle of soda and as many mentos as you like.
I think that the soda will explode, I don't know if that only applies to cans or not.
What you want to do is put mentos mints in a soda bottle and if it doesnt explode then shake it
It does not explode. The only reason why it might "explode" is because in the sun it would heat up and the particles would move faster causing the soda to "explode."
Because the water in the soda expands when it freezes, and the plastic bottle can only stretch so far before it bursts. Soda cans burst, too, but it usually comes out through the 'easy open' top. This is an answer aaron to why does soda explode in a cold plastic bottle...
ull need some mints and a two liter bottle of soda u might want safety goggles but u go outside [where is safest] and put the mint in the bottle then stand back and watch how the soda EXPLODES
When you shake a soda, the carbon dioxide gas inside gets released and forms bubbles. This creates pressure inside the bottle or can, which can cause the soda to explode when opened.
soda could explode at any time!!!
Place a few mints into a bottle of soda and quickly seal the bottle. The mints will react with the soda, causing the carbon dioxide to rapidly escape, resulting in a small explosion. Note: This experiment can be dangerous, so caution is advised.
Dropping Mentos into soda will cause it to explode.
